In this episode, Kent talks to the Rev. Dr. Katie Hayes of Galileo Church in Fort Worth. Katie started her college career at MIT studying engineering and ended up with a degree in library science, a Master's in Divinity from Yale Divinity School, and a doctorate from Princeton Theological Seminary. She served small, traditional churches for almost two decades before planting Galileo Church at the Christian Church Disciples of Christ Community on the outskirts of Fort Worth, Texas in 2013. Katie describes Galileo as a quirky church for spiritual refugees, especially LGBTQ, plus people, neurodiverse people, and the people who love them. Welcome, Dr. Hayes.
